Susan J. Mayfield, Ph.D. is President of Prime Performance
Consulting. She holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from
Northern Illinois University. In addition, she is a
Registered Corporate Coach.
Susan has over 20 years experience helping leaders identify
and leverage their unique strengths. Numerous executives,
managers and entrepreneurs seek her guidance as they strive
to increase their performance and sharpen their leadership
skills.
Prior to starting Prime Performance Consulting, Susan co-founded and developed a large behavioral health practice. Following a merger of her company, she served as Vice President of Operations Development and Training for the largest behavioral health care organization in the Chicago area.
Extensive business experience has provided Susan with
first-hand insight into the challenges faced by today’s
business executives. Her entrepreneurial experience enables
Susan to assist leaders in finding the value that lies at
the intersection of knowledge and leadership. She assists
leaders to seize new opportunities and to become empowered
so that they can inspire and influence talented experts.
Her approach is an integration of skills developed over many
years of coaching, consulting and team-building in
combination with a business
acumen gained from building and managing two companies—a
large behavioral health practice and an employee assistance
company.
